27 January 2017: New Contest

We have a new contest to win a $100 Amazon gift card, which runs through 12 March 2017.  We are looking for the best idea on how to increase sales through our website.  As you may know, if you purchase anything from Amazon, after first going through a link on our website (in the Header, Footer, Books page or a Banner), Amazon pays us ~5% of the purchase price as an "affiliate partner".  We use this money to support our website, and also distribute 10% of what we receive to a designated charity.  Last year, there were about ~2000 items purchased in this way, which is about 5 per day.  With an average daily traffic of over 15,000 sessions / visits, it seems we could do better.  Email with your idea on how to get Pathologists to purchase from through our website more often.

26 January 2017: Feature of Month - Search Books

Find any recent Pathology related book easily with our Books page, with links accessible on the Header and Footer of each page.  Using the Table of Contents, you can search for a book by Publisher, Books Series, Specialty or Date posted.  You can also search by Author or Title using the Search Box.  No other website makes it so easy to see what Pathology books are "out there".  The books also help support our website, because although we don't sell these books ourselves, we link to and some publishers.  Amazon pays us a commission on most purchases, books or otherwise, that were referred to their website by our website.  The publishers pay us a modest fee to link the books to their website.  Let us know if you have any questions or comments.

25 January 2017: Changes to Credit Card Processing

We have now started using Costco / Elavon for online processing of advertising payments on our Advertise page.  This appears to be easier for users, and helps those institutions which could not use PayPal, the prior processor.  There still is an option for payment through PayPal at the bottom of this page.  Let us know at 248/646-0325 of any questions that you have.
