16 January 2018: Small changes to website

We are constantly improving PathologyOutlines.com to make it more useful to you.

1. We have removed the Header and Footer links to the Apps page, which referred to Apps from other pathology sources, which has nothing to do with our website. We are planning our first App later this year, which will be Board Review questions from our website.

2. We have a new Industry News page, which is a reconfiguration of the prior Pathology Products & Services page. We plan for this page to have important information about changes in Pathology.

3. To post a Job, Fellowship or Conference ad, please email the ad with your contact information to PathOutAds@gmail.com. This email will be monitored by several people, so there should be a prompt response. We are no longer asking you to send the ad to a second email.

16 January 2018: Authoring for PathologyOutlines

Have you thought about being an author at PathologyOutlines.com? We are looking for great writers to help update our free online textbook. By becoming an author, you gain international exposure and have publications you can add to your CV. Please review our author information page at http://www.pathologyoutlines.com/Instructionsforauthors.html, and email your CV to erinthomas3161@gmail.com with your areas of expertise/interest.

8 January 2018: Charitable giving to The Detroit College Promise

Twice a year, PathologyOutlines.com donates 10% of our Amazon commission to a non-profit. For the second half of 2017, we contributed $486 to the Detroit College Promise, the nonprofit we started that provides scholarships to Detroit Public School students.  To help support these efforts, just use our Amazon.com link on our Home Page or Books pages to buy Pathology books, non Pathology related books or any other items. Thank you!

8 January 2018: Images needed

Our request this week is for images relevant to:

Soft tissue > Adipose tissue > Dedifferentiated liposarcoma - gross, micro of MDM2 and CDK4, cytology, molecular images

We believe it is important to have an adequate number of high quality images on our server, because images on other servers often disappear.  If you own images of these entities, please email them as attachments to Dr. Nat Pernick at NatPernick@gmail.com, with any corresponding clinical history. There is no payment for image contributions, but we will acknowledge you as contributor, so please indicate how you want your name to be displayed.
